This afternoon, district administration was made aware of a disturbing photo that was distributed on Snapchat today. Our high school administration and local law enforcement investigated to determine if the threat was credible. Law enforcement were able to determine the photo was of a case of guns at a military museum. We will continue our investigation and take appropriate action in response based on our student handbook and board policies. District administration appreciates the work of our local law enforcement and the individuals who reported the incident in such a timely fashion this afternoon. The safety of our students, staff and community is our top priority and we are doing what we need to do to ensure our students and staff are safe.
